According to The Pew Global Attitudes Project survey conducted by the Pew Research Center among 47 publics only 9 percent of the Turkish population has a favorable view of the United States. This has dropped drastically since 1999/2000 when 52 percent of Turkish people viewed the U.S. positively. I am sure that the U.S. administration will take 'a note' of this digit as it displays the lowest level of the appreciation for the U.S. among all 47 questioned countries.Yet, Turkish respondents haven't adopted a negative attitude only towards the United States. Only 27 percent of them liked the European Union. "
