Both the European Union Progress Report and a document that spells out the framework for Turkey’s negotiations with the EU have put Ankara in the hot seat. These documents issued yesterday in Brussels contain targets that will require a lot of work on the part of the government in order to fulfill. Whether the Erdogan government has the will to carry through with this is, however, not very clear. "
