Where are Turkey’s social democrats? What happened to them? Where are they, indeed? Turkey’s political spectrum is under the occupation of all shades of conservative/religious parties, groups and orders. It is increasingly being taken over by nationalists, extremists and others who feature religious, nationalist and so-called republican colors"
