"Turkey: EU Talks May Lead to $10,000 per Capita Income
11:19 - 28 November 2005 - By the time Turkey finishes its accession talks with the European Union, Turkey's GDP, which is currently $350 billion, will reach a trillion dollars and Turkey's current per capita income around $5,000 will then work out at $10,000, said Ali Babacan, the Minister of State and Top Negotiator to EU, during the 4th Congress of Commerce launched by the chamber of commerce, Zaman Daily reports.
