President of Ataturk Culture Center Professor Taciser Onuk noted Turkish is the 6th common language in the world.
“Turkish is a rich and appropriate language to produce any kind of literary production and scientific study,” Professor Onuk said. In the professor’s written explanation about the final declaration of the VI. International Turkish Culture Congress it noted that about 12,000 Turkish words are used in the languages of other nations in the world and the dictionaries for these words are prepared by The Turkish Institute of Language (TDK)."
