"Linden praises Turkish efforts towards EU membership
ISTANBUL - Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Rene van der Linden departed from Turkey on Sunday, but not without praising Turkish efforts for its European Union membership.
Linden underlined that PACE had confidence in both the Turkish government and the opposition, stating that the ruling and the opposition parties were exerting efforts to make sure that Turkey someday becomes a full EU member. "
