On July 11, when Gen. Mladic appeared in Srebrenica, he said, 'Remembering the uprising against the Turks [i.e., the Ottoman Empire], the time has come to take revenge on the Muslims.� The United Nations and the European Union should take this into consideration before another Srebrenica is repeated since Mladic is still a national hero to the majority of Serbs."
