The murder of the controversial writer-director, Theo van Gogh, by Muslim immigrant with a Moroccan origin Mohammed Bouyeri, has made serious repercussions in the Netherlands. The rising opposition against foreigners, particularly against Muslims, living in this country has caused serious losses from the well-known “tolerant” face of the Dutch community. The responsibility of the murder has not been set over only the murderer himself, but on the whole Muslim community."
