"Blair says Turkey's signing protocol will not mean it recognizes Greek Cyprus
British PM Tony Blair has indicated that Turkey's signing the protocol adapting the customs union agreement to 10 new member states of the EU would not mean that it recognizes (officially) the Greek Cypriot administration.Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met today British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London.
After the meeting, Blair said that they discussed terrorism, which was the common problem of the two countries, and thanked Turkey and Turkish people for their support.
Noting that both Turkey and U.K. knew well terrorism and its nature, Blair stated that Erdogan and he discussed possible cooperation to fight against terrorism. Blair also reaffirmed that they would act
together and with full determination."
