The need to assist and to welcome Ankara
Bombings never go unnoticed, but the explosions on the streets and beaches of southeast Turkey this summer have not been noticed widely enough. Blamed on groups associated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (the PKK), the attacks in the resort of Kusadasi and elsewhere have killed at least seven civilians, including one Briton, and injured dozens more.
