As everybody knows, Turkey -- a Muslim country -- is at the moment in talks with the European Union, of which we now form part, to gain membership. To many politicians, but also to many of the millions of eurocitizens of the EU, this spells problems. Such problems can either be taken seriously because they reflect real life of the various EU nation-states, but also be dismissed when various writers simply dismiss such ideas due to sheer prejudice and do not in any way substantiate their arguments -- such was the latest article written on di-ve.com about the subject. "
