"Talat: We Offered Maras

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Mehmet Ali Talat reacted to Greek Cyprus Foreign Minister Georges Yakovou's denial that the Turkish Cypriot party did not offer them Maras at the negotiations in Brussels last June.
Talat called Yakovou a 'brave liar' who denied the prime minister's statement 'We offered them Maras in exchange for abolishing isolation.'"
