"Cuban International Newspaper Published in Turkish
Havana, July 13 (AIN) The first edition of Granma International in Turkish was launched in Ankara, Turkey.
Dunya Publishing House, in charge of the publication, presented the inaugural issue at the Cuban embassy in Turkey before political leaders, intellectuals and journalists of the Asian nation.
Some 7,000 copies of the 20-page newspaper will be printed every month in the Asian nation.
During the presentation of the paper, Cuban ambassador, Ernesto Gomez Abascal, said the new version of the Cuban newspaper will enable the Turkish people to learn more about Cuba's economic, political and cultural life. He pointed to the importance of the initiative to strengthen relations between Cuba and Turkey."
