Turkey has awarded Dutch historian Professor Erik Jan Zurcher 'A Superior Service Brevet and Plate' for his participation in the European Union (EU) process. The brevet and plate from the Turkish Foreign Ministry were delivered to Zurcher by Tacan Ildem accompanied with a ceremony at Turkish Embassy in Lahey the previous day."
