"EU No votes 'hitting reforms in Turkey'

The political turmoil sparked by the rejection of the European Union constitution in France and the Netherlands is undermining political reforms in Turkey, a senior European commissioner warned on Tuesday.
G�nter Verheugen, who oversaw last year's expansion into eastern and southern Europe, admitted that opposition to both past and future enlargements of the EU had contributed to the referendum defeats. "
