"US: Congressional Members' Visit to TRNC is Legal

The US Department of State termed the Congressional delegation trip to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) via Turkey three months ago as legal.
Answering a question by one of the leaders of the Greek lobby at the US House of Representatives Michael Bilirakis, who protested the visit members, the Department's spokesperson Sean McCormack said regarding the questions in a letter.
Congressional members will be queried on the issue and there was no violation of international laws by the visit, McCormack added."
