"Mother tongue campaign reaches 60,000 signatures within 3 days
DIYARBAKIR (DIHA) - In the eastern city of Diyarbakır, 60,000 petitions have hitherto been collected in the scope of the 'I demand education in mother tongue' campaign.
Medeni Alkpaya of the Initiative Campaign Demanding Right to Be Educated in Mother Tongue said the obstacles and prohibitions set before education in mother tongue fuel conflicts and spoil the atmosphere of peace, so insuring no nonappearance of conflicts and peace will be provided by education in mother tongue."
