"Turkey-EU trade figures up
11:47 - 22 May 2006 - While Turkish exports to the EU registered an increase of 2 percent in the last quarter, they were unable to keep up with a 10.3 percent jump in imports, said the Anatolia news agency.
A total of 54.1 percent of all of Turkey's exportation is destined for EU countries. Exports to the EU totaled approximately $9.7 billion and imports $11.8 billion for the quarter."
