Istanbul. The probable reason for the fire at the Ataturk Airport in the European part of Istanbul is a short circuit, CNN TV station reports citing Turkish officials. The firestorm has engulfed the cargo sector at Terminal C but it is also threatening to engulf the nearby hotel.
According to private TV channel NTV there are fears some personnel members may have been blocked in the burning sector."
