"Turkey vows to stick to EU reforms, defiant on Cyprus
Turkey pledged Thursday to address shortcomings in reforms and rights outlined in an annual European Union report on its progress towards membership, but rejected as 'unacceptable' demands on Cyprus.
'The government is very much determined to implement the reforms and strengthen them, to improve democracy,' Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul told reporters."
