"TeliaSonera Vows to Fight for Turkcell

Nordic telecommunications company TeliaSonera Corp. vowed Thursday to keep fighting for majority ownership in mobile phone operator Turkcell, despite rival bidder Alfa Group's deal for a stake in the company.
Turkey's Cukurova group said Wednesday it had reached a US$3.3 billion (euro2.72 billion) deal with the Turkish subsidiary of Alfa Group that could give the Russian company a 13.22 percent stake in Turkcell. "
