EU leaders do not have the luxury to stall Turkish full membership when they face setbacks
The leaders of European Union countries have had ample time and opportunity to reject Turkey 's candidacy for full membership in the union over the past few decades. Despite this, it's no secret that they put some tough conditions on Turkey and forced Ankara to accept conditions only required when a country was about to become a member, just to start accession talks."
