"Turkish PM Reminds Edelman US Promise to End PKK
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the U.S. Ambassador to Ankara, Eric Edelman.
The two men agreed on a concrete decision, for the first time, concerning the terrorist organization, the Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK).
Erdogan reminded Edelman of the past promises from the US regarding the PKK. To deal with the issue, Erdogan and Edelman decided on a powerful, three-party summit that would include the US, Turkey and Iraq.
There are thousands of PKK terrorists based in Northern Iraq and the US President George Bush and American ministers promised to put an end to the terrorist camps in Iraq. However the US forces has continued to allow the PKK camps."
