"Konya celebrates 778th anniversary of Mevlana's arrival:
The 778th anniversary of Mevlana and his family's arrival in Konya was celebrated on Wednesday in the garden of the Mevlana Museum.
A group staged Mevlana being welcomed by Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat as part of the activities.
Mevlana, also known as Rumi, was born in 1207 and was an Anatolian philosopher whose doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love."
