ANKARA: Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed Turkey�s determination to join the European Union yesterday and urged the 25-nation bloc to overcome France�s rejection of the EU constitution.
In a speech to deputies of his Justice and Development Party (AKP), Erdogan insisted that France�s rejection of the charter in Sunday�s referendum does not pose an �obstacle� to Ankara�s EU drive."
