World Bank Signs a Grant Agreement with the United States and Turkish Treasury on an Additional $9 Million for Conditional Cash Transfers To Low Income Turkish Families
Ankara, February 7, 2005 � The World Bank signed today grant agreement documents with the United States and the Turkish Treasury, whereby the U.S. will provide $9,000,000 to the World Bank to be used to support the Social Risk Mitigation Project. The grant agreement was signed by the Country Director of the World Bank Andrew Vorkink, U.S. Ambassador Eric Edelman, USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator Thomas Mefford and the Undersecretary of the Undersecretariat of Turkish Treasury Ibrahim �anak��"
