The British House of Commons Foreign Relations Committee warned that Greeks would veto Turkey's membership if Turkey does not recognize Greek Cyprus by October 3rd. The House of Commons Foreign Relations Committee, dominated by Labor party members, has published a 91-page report on the Cyprus Dispute. While supporting Turkey's EU membership the report drew attentions to the importance of a solution in the dispute. The committee warned that 'Turkey's membership would be impossible in practice unless a solution on the Cyprus dispute was reached.' "
