Twenty-six ecclesiastics participated in to this year's Davos World Economic Forum. Representatives of almost all religions were present in Davos to contribute to discussions about solutions to important problems in the world.
Zaman talked about Turkey's European Union (EU) membership bid with German Lubeck Bishop Mrs. Barbel Wartenberg-Potter, who was one of the Davos attendees. Potter, contrary to the German Christian Democrats, supports Turkey's membership and thinks that Turkey's membership will serve inter-cultural dialogue."
