As of the end of March 10,278 foreign companies and branch offices had been established in Turkey, with 2,158 local firms entering into partnership with foreign companies.
The Undersecretariat of the Treasury has published the Foreign Direct Investment Data bulletin, detailing foreign companies established in Turkey, affiliations to existing companies and their number of branch offices. According to the bulletin the number of foreign companies established between June 17, 2003 and Dec. 31, 2005 increased by 102 percent. "
