"Ankara Says It Held Diplomatic-Level Talks with Armenia
Ankara. Turkey said that since last year it had held three rounds of diplomatic-level talks with Armenia, AFP reported citing Turkish Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Namik Tan. The talks were held on the level of deputy foreign ministers and were aimed at “establishing common grounds for making a specific progress in bilateral relations”.
Turkey recognized the independence of Armenia in 1991, but it has never maintained diplomatic ties with Yerevan."
