"Turkey's so-called 'nationalists'

Flowers, chants and cheers for the release of Mehmet Ali Ağca by a small group of so-called 'nationalists' angered millions of Turks during the Feast of the Sacrifice holiday. Millions watching the footage of the release on their TV screens felt that something was seriously wrong with this. I do not think I was alone in being disgusted by the small parade of a handful of fascists welcoming Mr. Ağca. Not only was it annoying that Ağca would be welcomed and cheered by some of our countrymen but the exploitation of our flag for such a disgraceful occasion was extremely distasteful. "
