Three Turkish tourists were kidnapped on Dec. 24 in southeastern Iran near the Pakistani border, the Turkish ambassador to Iran told the Anatolia news agency on Friday.
The three, who were travelling to Nepal, were kidnapped almost three weeks ago in an area where Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan meet, a Foreign Ministry official confirmed, speaking to the Turkish Daily News on condition of anonymity."
