In the European Union, significant countries and circles are questioning the fundamental principles of the Republic of Turkey with a certain disdain and, at the same time, they want to leave Turkey out of Europe on the grounds that Turkey does not belong to European civilization, religiously or culturally.
Pressure has been applied to Turkey for years to make it admit to a �genocide� it did not commit. These accusations -- ignoring the fact that more Muslims than Christians died in those incidents -- are also seen as acts of Christian solidarity. "
