Ankara voiced Turkey's will for a permanent resolution to the Cyprus dispute reiterating that it was the Greek Cypriots who should take a step forward in order to pave the way for reaching a resolution formula.
�Turkey is ready for permanent peace, if the Greek Cypriot administration takes a new step,� Foreign Minister Abdullah G�l said yesterday. His Turkish Cypriot counterpart, Foreign Minister Serdar Denktas displayed a possible resolution on the divided island of Cyprus, as a condition for joint recognition of both the separate administrations on the island. "
