"Turkey's role in Mideast sought
ANKARA: The US wants help from Turkey and other countries to 'sustain the momentum' toward Mideast peace, and incitement to anti-Jewish violence and sentiment must end, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said yesterday.
She also sought to reassure Turkey that President George W Bush's administration wants Iraq to remain whole and at peace with its neighbours.
Gul said now that 'Israel and the Palestinians do have their own governments it will be possible,' for neighbours to be more helpful in the peace process, Gul said. "
