"'Turkish Year' to be celebrated in France in 2007
French governmental authorities have announced that, following the upcoming 'Armenian Year' to be recognized in France between April and November, a so-called 'Turkish Year' will be scheduled for 2007. Following a meeting yesterday between Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul and French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy during which Douste-Blazy mentioned the 'Turkish Year' plans, the French FM then answered questions at a press conference about the Armenian genocide."
