The whole world watched the marathon negotiations in Luxembourg that began on the eventful evening of Oct. 2, 2005 and continued at a nail-biting pace throughout Oct. 3 past the scheduled signing time of the agreement that had yet to be reached between the European Union and Turkey. The diplomatic waltz was danced between Austria's film actress beauty, Iron Lady number-two Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik, and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw in the first half of the match."
