As Pakistan received the widest range of aid materials from Turkey, another component of the Turkish culture emerged.
The earthquake hit severely some villages in which Pakistani people of Turkish origin have been living since the time they migrated from Anatolia to Kashmir. Lipabag Pura, a Turkish populated village, was destroyed completely, said Dr. Eyup Cetin, head of the aid squad of Konya Metropolitan Municipality during his visit to Muzaffarabad.
