RADIKAL- Those who consider the Kurdish issue a problem only within the borders of Turkey can continue to believe this. Even the concept of democratization doesn’t only relate to us anymore. Even if the world which emerged following the 1990s seems to be forgotten now, it makes every step taken by such a country as Turkey dependent on the world outside and the conditions wrought by the new world order. Considering the issue of the Middle East, this situation has held since the early 2000s, particularly following the Sept. 11 attacks. Likewise, Brussels barring the Kongra-Gel [terrorist PKK’s so-called political will] leader from holding a press conference on Friday confirms the ever-shifting structure and nature of these developments."
