Ankara does not expect any surprises in the beginning of membership talks on October 3 despite anti-Turkey remarks from some members of the European Union (EU).
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan advised his cabinet not to have second thoughts about beginning negotiations on October 3, and Turkish diplomats also share the same view."
