"Spanish hotel chain to invest in Turkey
The Spanish hotel chain Barcelo is to invest €75m in Turkey within the next two years. The investment will provide 1,200 jobs for people in Turkey. The Barcelo group will focus on Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir as part of their city hotels plans. And for their resort hotels, Fethiye, Bodrum, Marmaris , Cesme, kemer and Belek have been listed as favourites. The group, who are already active in 15 countries, see the investment as part of a realization to expand into eastern Europe, including Turkey in the deal."
