Disagreement amongst government officials over minor issues is delaying a plan to revamp Turkey's defense industry and the defense procurement system, government sources say. The plan entails a merger between Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) and Turkish Aircraft Industries (TUSAS), with the new entity holding majority stakes in key weapons/systems manufacturers."
