BNP Paribas Turkish Unit Jumps Most Since March 2011 on Profit

Turk Ekonomi Bankasi AS (TEBNK), the Turkish unit of BNP Paribas SA (BNP), climbed the most in more than three years after third-quarter net income doubled.

TEB, as the Istanbul-based lender is known, rose 12 percent to 2.16 liras, the most since March 2011, in Istanbul. About 5 million shares were traded, 26 times the three-month daily average. That compares with a 0.7 percent decline in the Borsa Istanbul 100 Index. (XU100)
