Tourism: Turkish hotel chain opens new facility in Dubai

(ANSAmed) - DUBAI, MARCH 12 - A Turkish hotel chain inaugurated on Monday a new tourist facility in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as Anatolia news agency reports.
Rixos opened The Palm Dubai in a ceremony attended by Dubai Amir Al Maktoum, Turkey's ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party deputy chairmen Omer Celik and Huseyin Celik, and Culture & Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay. ''We have invested 50 million USD in this hotel we have rented for 20 years,'' Fettah Tamince, the head of Rixos Hotels Executive Board, said during the inauguration ceremony. Tamince also said Rixos would open six more facilities, five of which would be abroad, within 2012.
