Turkey to inaugurate lignite thermoelectric power plant by 2015

Korea-based SK Group said the $2bn Tufanbeyli thermoelectric power plant project in Turkey is now 10% completed and will be finished in February 2015.
The company has recently entered into a deal with Turkey national electricity production company EUAS for the thermoelectric power plant, considered as the world`s first low-calorie lignite thermal power plant, under construction at the Turkey Tufanbeyli mountainous area by a Korean construction company.
