Tales From Abroad: Istanbul

Scalding hot chocolate erupts out of my coffee cup as the noise cuts across the stillness of the Starbucks coffee shop. Deafening less in volume than in the sudden break it represented, I fling my copy of The Sun Also Rises away from my lap even as my frothy beverage stains the chair's upholstery.
