Official: Murdoch interested in Turkish media buy

ANKARA, Turkey — A Turkish official close to the prime minister says media magnate Rupert Murdoch has expressed an interest in expanding investments in Turkey.
The official said Murdoch told Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting in Ankara on Tuesday that he regarded Turkish media as an "important sector" for investments.
