Turkey giving up on peaceful solution to Kurdish issue

Turkey risks plunging into new bloodshed rather than reaching a peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue, analysts said as its warplanes continued to strike Kurdish rebel bases in northern Iraq.
“We are entering an era where the language of war and violence will prevail,” Soli Ozel, a columnist in the daily Haber Turk, wrote, while warning of the possible consequences of a new cycle of violence.
