One quarter of Romania's exports of common metals goes to Turkey, in Q1 Approximately 24% of Romania's total exports of common metals and metallurgical products went to Turkey in Q1 of this year, with the total value of products sold having stood at some 424 million euros.
According to a release of the Turkish Businessmen's Association (TIAD), which quotes data from the National Statistics Institute, after the first four months of 2011, Romania registered a total value of exports of metallurgical products of 1.7 billion euros (7.56 billion lei).
