An explosion has closed the Iran-Turkey gas pipeline, a spokesman for the Turkish energy ministry told Platts Friday.
The official said the explosion, which is suspected to have been the result of sabotage, had occurred on Thursday at around 2000 GMT in the eastern province of Agri causing a fire which has now been extinguished."
